If You Take Two Boys Outside . . .

If you take two boys outside after nap time, their going to want to have a snack at their picnic table.

While they're eating, they'll see their toys and decide it's time to play.  When they're playing, they'll run around and pull each other in the wagon.

It won't take long until one of them sees the big puffy clouds in the sky, which reminds them of bubbles, so they'll ask for their bubble guns.
They'll start by blowing bubbles in the wind, but it won't take long before "little boy mischief" sets in
and they start blowing them at each other.

Then a little sister will start to cry and it will be time to start dinner, so mommy will go inside and stand in the kitchen where she can keep an eye on the two little mischief makers.  However, it won't be long before two things happen, blowing bubbles gets boring and the bubble bowl spills.  So being the best little mischief makers around, they will decide it would be WAY more fun to make bubbles on EACH other while mommy is busy over a saute pan.
This will lead to hysterical giggling, which you can't help but join in.
And after you've sprayed them off with the hose and taken them inside,
they'll probably ask to go back outside.  : )

total slacker

So I realize I've been a total slacker the past two weeks with posting, but I promise we haven't fallen off the face of the earth!  I took on a small part time job helping with the children's ministry at our new church plant.  We just launched this week, which was super exciting, but required a TON of work.  Now that we're over that hurdle and things are slowing down a bit, I'll have a little more time to blog.  Stay tuned for the next installment to a much loved series.  It's entited, "If You Take Two Boys Outside".  : )

Guest Post

Hey y'all! Today I'm guest posting over at This Life I Live . My friend Danielle is the usual blogger for this site and one of my best friends. She was the first person to talk to invite me to something at our church (which is no surprise if you know her!) and we've been through lots of awesome, hard, crazy stuff together. We are complete oposites, but that's what makes it fun. : ) Go on over and check her out and you can read my post while you're at it!
